Anthony DiGiovanni, a researcher at the Center on Long-Term Risk, will talk to us about his Safe Pareto Improvements research agenda during an extra meeting tomorrow (Monday, July 6th), 3 pm EDT. We will use the regular zoom link.

The Safe Pareto Improvements (SPI) agenda is intended to reduce the risks of catastrophic cooperation failures between powerful ASI’s. You can read more about SPI’s in Anthony’s summary here. The general setting of program games is also quite interesting for thinking about embedded agency.

This is our first talk in awhile since I have regrettably been distracted while setting up AIXI Labs. I hope to see many of you return to learn about this very interesting topic!
